Gen Z is entitled and uninterested in work, boomers are out of touch and hoarding all the money and millennials are crying over spilled avocado toast. This is the generational type-casting that plagues our society. In Edelman’s study of generational influence we find that these stereotypes lead marketers to not only misunderstand, but at times completely overlook our culture's greatest source of influential and economic power.
