This session will be designed to deepen understanding of the complex interactions between women’s hormonal mechanisms, neurological functioning, and responses to psychedelic therapies. We will explore how female hormones impact neurological functioning and stress responses, influencing mental health and conditions unique to women, and discuss the potential of psychedelics as novel treatments for conditions that disproportionately or specifically affect women. Women's health is chronically under researched and ignored often in drug development, we need to address this in psychedelic therapies.
