Preparing for future catastrophes is one thing; building public trust in leadership and empowering the populace to be proactive are something else. In this fast-paced workshop presented by the ASU Threatcasting Lab and Phaedrus, participants will employ the Threatcasting model and a generative AI tool called WOLF to confront a fictional crisis and co-create responses in real time. In doing so, they will explore new technologies and techniques designed to replace high-level reports ("bullet points") with a visceral sense of urgency ("belief") that is critical to engagement.
Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
