Celestial Stewardship: Why Space Is Our Planet’s Most Precious Resource

Mar 9, 2025

2:30pm – 3:30pm CT

Orbit may seem distant, but it’s as close as your phone, the next hurricane forecast, and groceries on your table. Space, often seen as the final frontier, is as fragile as Earth’s oceans and forests, threatened by orbital debris and overcrowding. This talk explores how decision intelligence—blending AI, data science, and human insight—can protect life on Earth by safeguarding satellites vital for climate monitoring and global logistics. Are we ready to act as “celestial stewards,” or are we sleepwalking into an environmental crisis above? By uniting AI, TEK, and planetary science, we’ll discuss building a sustainable, equitable, and safe orbital future.
