Mar 11, 2025

4:00pm – 5:00pm CT

Almost half of the American population is living with a chronic condition like cancer, diabetes or PCOS. Despite how common they are, misinformation and stigma continue to cloud public understanding of these conditions. Myths about the causes fuel harmful stereotypes that affect the quality of life and care for many. This session dives into the realities of living with conditions like diabetes, dispelling myths and exploring the impact of online misinformation. Attendees will learn how to identify and challenge common myths, understand the diverse experiences of patients, and gain insights into the importance of accurate information in improving support and care.
