SXSW Pitch is a platform that allows early-stage technology startups to pitch their product and/or services to industry technology experts, high-profile media personnel, and venture capitalists/angel investors.

The Innovative World Technology category is for any creative and innovative application, product, or service that does not fit in another SXSW Pitch category, as well as technologies that act as the infrastructure on which new technologies are built. Examples that might fit into this category include (but are not limited to) societal good, social networking, supply chain, payment and fintech, biotechnology and nanotechnology, pet tech, drones, home refinancing, quantum computing and computer chip technology, and others.

The Innovative World Technology category winner will be announced at the SXSW Pitch Awards Ceremony on Sunday, March 9, at 6:30 pm in Salon H on the 6th floor of the Hilton Austin Hotel.

Also, attendees can make face-to-face connections with all 70+ SXSW Pitch finalists for 2025 at the special “Meet the Finalists” event on Monday, March 10, at 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Griffin Hall on the 2nd floor of the JW Marriott.
