SXSW Pitch: Smart Cities, Transportation & Sustainability
SXSW Pitch is a platform that allows early-stage technology startups to pitch their product and/or services to industry technology experts, high-profile media personnel, and venture capitalists/angel investors.
Smart Cities, Transportation & Sustainability Technologies create and advance smart cities and/or enhance sustainable practices by providing services and products for local environments, which include buildings, neighborhoods, communities, and public spaces. These innovations may find applications in sustainability, climate change, renewable power sources, real estate development, transportation, tourism, logistics, product delivery, autonomous vehicles, ridesharing, infrastructure, utilities, public works, security, population data, government and civic services, urban planning and design, waste management and recycling, water management and conservation, green building, air quality monitoring and pollution control, disaster resilience and emergency management, and more.
The Smart Cities, Transportation & Sustainability Technology category winner will be announced at the SXSW Pitch Awards Ceremony on Sunday, March 9, at 6:30 p.m. in Salon H on the 6th floor of the Hilton Austin Hotel.
Also, attendees can make face-to-face connections with all 70+ SXSW Pitch finalists for 2025 at the special “Meet the Finalists” event on Monday, March 10, at 10:30 a.m. at Griffin Hall on the 2nd floor of the JW Marriott.
