Jared "Jay B." Boyd is a Memphis-based multimedia journalist, DJ, and on-air personality. He is the program manager and co-founder of WYXR 91.7 FM, a nonprofit freeform radio station. Boyd covers Memphis music for outlets like The Daily Memphian and Memphis Flyer and has written liner notes for The Gospel Truth: Complete Singles Collection, The Truth Is Where It's At, and a reissue of Frederick Knight’s I've Been Lonely For So Long. He pens a monthly column for Stax Records and co-hosts Beale St. Caravan, an NPR-syndicated roots music show. Boyd also performs as DJ Bizzle Bluebland.
