Wave Chapelle is a hip-hop artist from the north side of Milwaukee who grew up on the sounds of Kanye West, Jay-Z, and Drake. In 2013, Wave made his debut with the mixtape "It’ll All Make Sense Soon", and in early 2014 he was discovered by Yo Gotti, who quickly signed him to his CMG record label. Wave decided to go independent in 2017, and he's been putting out a steady stream of high quality music ever since. In the fall of 2022, he partnered with the Milwaukee Bucks to become one of their official ambassadors, which has led to his music being played at home games and him performing in front of Bucks fans at Fiserv Forum on multiple occasions. His newest project, "In Mode", came out in early February. Wave is one of Milwaukee's best, and in the last year he's shared the stage with artists like Lil Uzi, Mariah The Scientist, and Atmosphere.
