DEADMAN at Zilker Brewing
Steven Collins (aka DEADMAN) has collaborated with renowned producers Mark Howard (Bob Dylan, REM, Tom Waits, Willie Nelson) and Malcolm Burn (Emmylou Harris, The Neville Brothers). Collins has shared the stage with Daniel Lanois and performed with his band at Willie Nelson's Fourth of July Picnic. DEADMAN’s record, Take Up Your Mat and Walk, spent 24 weeks at number one on the EuroAmericana charts, and the band served as the backing group for Garth Hudson of The Band during a tribute to Levon Helm at Sweden's Peace and Love Festival. Six Milagros marks DEADMAN’s return to the Texas and international music scenes, launching with a full set on the main stage at Texas Monthly's BBQ Fest 2024.
Steven has a unique approach in creating singular sonic identifiers that are easily identifiable in his work as a songwriter, recording artist and as a producer. His approach to studio installation in inspired spaces allows for him to capture rare and timeless performances.
