Chlöe's Clue at Shangri-La

Mar 12, 2025

Shangri-La

Lullabies for adults.

Songs of tender and provocative rhythms, simple and sometimes twisted, with which the adult is stimulated to live - alluding only to the joyful part harbored in living.

Songs that look with the naivety of a child - extolling the beauty of the ordinary and being surprised by the simple - and that are always generated in the space of intimacy - as if they lived in the warmth of a cradle - in a spontaneous way that makes them sometimes ironic and always free, uncensored in their expression - sound and lyrics - .

With this immovable base, mixing childhood imaginaries and the ordinary world in an ironic and delicate way, the project of Raquel Adalid - Chlöe’s Clue - has been evolving from 2014 when she launched “Hidden Rhythms”, the first album that took her to some of the greatest festivals in Spain and encouraged her keep sewing her musical fabric with “Panorama” (2017) and “Carmín y Rubor” (2020).

This evolution keeps moving and twisting. In 2024 the artist from Valencia launches “Notas de Voz”, her own voice notes from the phone with no filter, an exercise of exposed intimacy, a pleasurable representation of the raw reality.
