Johnny Symons is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker specializing in LGBTQ+ documentaries. His films have premiered at Sundance, won 25+ awards, and screened at 250+ festivals as well as PBS, HBO, and Netflix. He co-produced the Oscar®-nominated feature Long Night’s Journey Into Day. He is a Professor and MFA Coordinator at San Francisco State University.
