Sonam Choekyi Lama

Choekyi is a filmmaker from the remote region of Dolpo in the Himalayas. Snow Leopard Sisters is her first feature documentary as a director. In 2024, Choekyi accepted a directorial scholarship to the Documentary Visual School at the International Center of Photography in New York.
