Laura Lee & the Jettes return with a new single "Tough Love Paradigm" in 2024.

The single follows up from her critically acclaimed 2021 album "Wasteland" which saw Laura transitioning from a successful music project Gurr to having another.

Influenced by American Alternative Rock, Grunge and Brit Pop Laura Leee has moulded all his elements into her new song "Tough Love Paradigm", with its power chord progression and harmonic overlays and easy flow the track is easy listening and infectious.

Speaking about the track Laura tells us " The song reminds me of 90s Placebo. It was written in 15 minutes - it either takes me 15 minutes or months to write a song but the 15 minute ones are usually the best. The lyrics are about my friend who has been sober for a year now. I also read up a lot onsobriety and what he was going through and realized that sometimes love shows up as tough love. This is also something I had to learn as a new parent, that boundaries are so important and lead to more secure attachment styles..
