Anna Feder
Anna is an educator, curator, filmmaker, community builder and activist based in Boston and Providence. Anna has over twenty five years experience in curating and creating cinema environments including the Bright Lights Cinema Series at Emerson which she has been running since its inception in 2012 and several festivals including the Boston Underground Film festival, SFIndie and Wicked Queer. She speaks on audience building, the power of communal experience and the importance of post screening dialogue at national conferences including the University Film and Video Association, the Society for Cinema and Media Studies, the Arthouse Convergence and SXSW. She is an evangelist for #cinemaculture and believes that everyone needs to see their stories reflected back to them on the big screen and to share physical space in real time with other people.
