His journey began as an artist and concert promoter, and since then, he has seamlessly navigated through retail, radio, marketing, and management, including A&R at Universal Music Canada, leaving an indelible mark on the industry. Today, David's company provides consulting services to help clients navigate the industry, in addition to his mentorship and role as a music business teacher at The Remix Project. Currently, David's company CLK Creative Works is deeply involved in producing a documentary about King Reign, a project that exemplifies his commitment to celebrating and preserving musical legacies. With a track record that includes producing the acclaimed TV series "Ultimate MC" for AUX TV and his recent triumph, the film "The Onyx Experience," a tribute to black artists performing rock music, David's influence on the industry is profound and far-reaching.
