Sridhar Sudarsan

As CTO, Sridhar Sudarsan drives SparkCognition’s technology, product, engineering and delivery, leveraging next-generation AI systems in offerings at scale across multiple industries. He is also responsible for taking these products to market. With over two decades of technology leadership experience in intrapreneurial and entrepreneurial ventures, Sudarsan has been at the helm of complex products and projects, collaborating with global customers on cutting-edge technologies that solve their most pressing business challenges.

Previously, Sudarsan was the CTO of IBM Watson Platform and Partnerships, where he led the tech strategy and architecture of the IBM Watson platform. He is a globally recognized AI thought leader and a regular speaker at industry events on the business potential and application of advanced AI. He holds over 14 patents in the areas of AI and distributed computing. He is also an adjunct Professor of Computer Science and Machine Learning at the University of Southampton. Sudarsan is a member of the Council of Competitiveness, a non-profit that unites business and academia leaders to transform innovation, inclusive prosperity, and economic competitiveness.
