One of Hollywood’s most promising young talents, Cailee Spaeny made her feature film debut in 2013 opposite John Boyega in Legendary’s PACIFIC RIM: UPRISING after winning a nationwide talent search at the age of eighteen. She later rose to prominence starring as the title character in Sofia Coppola’s 2023 film PRISCILLA, which earned her the coveted Best Actress prize at the Venice International Film Festival as well as Golden Globe and Gotham Award nominations.

Spaeny can next be seen starring in A24’s CIVIL WAR directed by Alex Garland, which will be released on April 12, 2024. She will star alongside Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura and Stephen McKinley Henderson. She will also star as the female lead in the new ALIEN: ROMULUS movie directed by Fede Álvarez.

From a small town in Missouri, Spaeny continued to make her mark in Hollywood appearing in both Fox’s BAD TIMES AT EL ROYALE and Focus Feature’s Ruth Bader Ginsberg biopic ON THE BASIS OF SEX in 2018. In 2020 she went on to star in Zoe Lister-Jone’s THE CRAFT: LEGACY in 2020, later re-joining Zoe Lister-Jones in Daryl Wein’s HOW IT ENDS.

In March 2020, Spaeny made her TV debut in FX’s mini-series “Devs” created by EX-MACHINA’s Alex Garland, followed by HBO’s hit drama limited series “Mare of Easttown” opposite Kate Winslet and Evan Peters, which went on to win the emmy for Outstanding Limited Series.
