Nathaniel Persily
Nate Persily is the James B. McClatchy Professor of Law at Stanford Law School; the founding Co-Director of the Stanford Cyber Policy Center and its Program on Democracy and the Internet; often court-appointed special master to resolve redistricting disputes in, e.g., Georgia, Maryland, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania; former Senior Research Director of the Presidential Commission on Election Administration; Co-author of The Law of Democracy and Social Media and Democracy; Carnegie/Guggenheim Fellow; Member of American Academy of Arts and Sciences; currently researching and writing on the implications of AI for democracy.
