Jennifer Buchli is the International Space Station Program Chief Scientist at NASA. Prior to this position, Jennifer was the Deputy Chief of Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) at the Johnson Space Center. She also served as the Deputy Chief Scientist for the center. She has served as both Principal Investigator and Payload Developer for International Space Station (ISS) flight investigations. Jennifer’s previous NASA experience includes ISS Deputy Chief Scientist, focal lead for life sciences and international collaboration for the ISS Program Science Office, and ETHOS instructor and flight control training in the Flight Operations Directorate. Prior to joining NASA, Jennifer worked in stem cell research at Massachusetts General Hospital and University College London.
