Deonne Castaneda

Deonne Castaneda is Head of Product Design at Block Party, crafting experiences dedicated to making the internet safer for everyone.

With over a decade of design leadership in technology at Apple, startups, and her consultancy Rose Lane Studio, she is dedicated to making lasting positive change through consumer and enterprise products. Her work includes designing for inclusivity and digital accessibility, encouraging prosocial behavior in online communities, and facilitating access to health support and resources.

Beyond her work in technology, Deonne is a mixed-media textile artist and creator of Stranded with You, a brand providing thoughtfully crafted tools for the textile artist community.

Motivated by a long-time interest in how technology can enrich lives, Deonne holds a M.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Sociology from Stanford University.
