Deb Girard

Deb is a 25-year veteran in ticketing for the iconic Newport Folk & Jazz Festivals through the Newport Festivals Foundation, whose mission is to create moments of hope through the power of music and community. Deb is an expert in ticket platforms and has been a crusader to eliminate ticketing injustices and championing fair access to music events by incorporating anti-scalping detection technology, which has eliminated 80% of unaffiliated secondary market transactions over the past 8 years. Deb’s previous experience extends to theater production where she worked for the Cleveland Opera and the San Francisco Opera. She was also a Location Manager for film and TV shows including Mrs. Doubtfire and Sister Act. Deb is an active member of the International Ticketing Association (INTIX).
