Mina Sabet
Mina’s work spans more than 2 decades and 3 continents. She’s an award winning producer and writer and respected as a leader in media and production.
Four days after graduating from High School, Mina set out on a journey that would change her life and her career path forever. She travelled to Southeast Asia serving as a volunteer in war torn Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos. That experience exposed her to journalism and writing and she returned to the US to get a degree in broadcast journalism and English from New York University’s journalism program. Her career took her to various news and entertainment organizations producing content and managing teams for NBC, CNN, ABC and FOX(television).
In 2008, Mina took over as executive producer for NBC’s iconic morning show in Philadelphia, collaborating and producing content directly with the TODAY Show. Mina secured not only a full 1 point jump in ratings within her 1st year at NBC, she also secured partnerships for the network and successfully managed a diverse production team. In 2013 she was asked to launch and lead content strategy and digital creation for one of Nestle’s largest global brands. In 2015 Mina took over as the Head of Production for TED, the acclaimed nonprofit conference series featuring expert speakers on education, business, science, tech and more. Her role includes leading teams on stage all the way through to post production for all TED’s O+O content as well as TED Talks Daily Podcast and original content.
