Jacob Fertig

Jacob Fertig is a New York-based documentary filmmaker, archival producer, and fundraising strategist, working across nonfiction shorts, features, and interactive media. He is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Denizen Studios, a Brooklyn production company sparking civic engagement through documentary storytelling. Jacob is currently producing several films with the Academy Award-nominated team at Field of Vision, one of which premieres this week at SXSW. His films have been supported by organizations including Doc Society, Amnesty International, Humanity in Action, Forensic Architecture, Ads-Up Refugee Network, and over 1,500 donors. As a fundraiser, Jacob has unlocked millions of dollars in grants and donations.
