Sachin Desai

Sachin Desai is the General Counsel of Helion Energy and has built a career helping to deploy clean energy across the globe. As part of his role at Helion, he helps lead regulatory policy and broader US and international government engagement. Before joining Helion, he was an attorney at the law firm of Hogan Lovells, supporting the licensing and buildout of a variety of clean energy sources, with a focus on advanced nuclear reactors and fusion energy. He started his legal career at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and before law school was a strategy consultant. Sachin has a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University, and a law degree from Harvard Law School, where he was also head of the Harvard Environmental Law Review.
