The Broadcast

Natalie Palamides is an absurdist physical comedian based in Los Angeles who some may refer to as a "clown," "character performer," or "commercial actor." She is best known for her critically acclaimed Netflix comedy special "NATE: A One Man Show" where she explores the idea of consent, bare chested, in drag, adorned with a stretchy dildo. Her first solo show LAID, about a woman who lays an egg every day, won the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer in 2017. She’s currently workshopping her new live show, WEER, to premiere at Edinburgh Fringe 2024, where she explores a romantic relationship with one half of her body as the boyfriend and the other as the girlfriend. Most of her work in progress shows can be seen throughout the year at the nonprofit Elysian Theater, where she also serves on the Board of Directors. You can also catch her gigging all over Los Angeles and as an ensemble clown member of the legendary mix billed show, Stamptown. On the tube, she can be seen in the Apple TV+ series, Gutsy, where she explores the idea of clowning with Hilary and Chelsea Clinton and revered clown teacher, Philippe Gaulier. If you have a VPN you can check out her role as a deranged, but well intentioned “scary clown,” Funzo, in the Netflix UK movie, Apocalypse Clown. She’s voiced a myriad of cartoon characters on a slew of cartoons, such as Merry Little Batman, Bob’s Burgers, American Dad, Family Guy, Duncanville, Powerpuff Girls, Tiny Toons, and Grimsburg. She loves making weird, dark, physical, silly comedy and she hopes that you enjoy it. Xoxo live laugh love. And always remember, stupid is good. Lol
