Michael Ehret
As the Head of Global Talent Management for Johnson & Johnson, I oversee succession management, talent development, talent acquisition, talent mobility, performance management, assessment, and workforce analytics to attract and develop global and diverse talent across the enterprise. My key responsibility is ensuring the organization and its leaders are prepared for any future.
Most recently, I advanced and increased the depth and diversity of the enterprise leadership pipeline, focusing on the next generation of talent and the identification and advancement of emerging leaders in the role of Head of Succession Management and Assessment in Global Talent Management at Johnson & Johnson.As Head of Human Resources for the $28B Commercial Franchises within Medical Devices, Vice President of Human Resources for the non-manufacturing parts of Supply Chain, and Vice President of Talent Development, where I was responsible for global Leadership Development and Learning, as well as Talent Mobility for more than 120,000 employees across 80 countries.
Prior to my time at Johnson & Johnson, I held several HR business partner and talent management positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb and CIGNA – and began my career as a member of the CIGNA HR Leadership Development Program.
I received my Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Global Leadership and Change Management, and my Doctorate of Education (Ed.D) in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University. I also have a Master of Science degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance and Marketing from the University of Richmond.
