Yemi A.D., a Czech-Nigerian multi-disciplinary creator, masterfully fuses art and technology. His journey from Czechoslovakia to becoming a New York City luminary exemplifies resilience and creativity. Selected for the dearMoon space mission, Yemi will be among the first artists to orbit the Moon. Yemi's collaboration with Grammy-winning Kanye West, spanning five years, includes the VMA performance (2010), "Runaway" short film (2010), SNL performances (2010), and The Yeezus Tour (2013). His innovative artistry extends to campaigns for Apple, Google, and Mercedes Benz. As Moonshot Platform's founder, he empowers young innovators, aligning with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Moonshot, endorsed by Madeleine Albright, reached over 3 million people, uniting leaders across 88 countries in its first two years. Yemi, a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute, also received a Silver Medal from the Czech Senate President for social innovation contributions.
At SXSW, Yemi will collaborate with Apptronik's humanoid robot, Apollo, blending artistic vision with robotic innovation. His keynote, a narrative of art, technology, and human experience, will demonstrate a future where these realms converge, emphasizing a humanistic approach to technological advancement.
