Brock Williams

Brock Williams is an Independent Spirit Award-nominated and Academy-shortlisted producer and distribution consultant working in both documentary and scripted films. He was a Film Independent Producing Fellow in 2014.

Most recently, Williams produced the comedy Memes & Nightmares alongside LeBron James’ company Springhill, which premieres on Hulu in February, and he produced There Was, There Was Not, an Armenian documentary that is being self-distributed by the film team in 2025.

He also Executive Produced The Body Politic, a documentary following Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott, and worked with the director to self distribute that film theatrically and online in 2024 (alongside a broadcast release on PBS’ POV). Previously Williams produced Alexandria Bombach’s feature documentary It’s Only Life After All, which premiered opening night Sundance 2023, and On Her Shoulders, for which Bombach won the Directing Award in U.S. Documentary Competition at Sundance 2018 and was nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards.
