Lea Millet

Lea Millet is a Senior Technical Leader at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). She leads the Plant Decommissioning and Site Redevelopment program for EPRI. The Plant Decommissioning and Site Redevelopment program focuses on providing research in all aspects of the process to assist utilities with planning and executing successful projects.

Before joining EPRI, Millet served in land and groundwater environmental compliance and remediation roles for thirteen years with a electric utility, where she took part in the decommissioning of five coal-fired power plants. Millet has a bachelor’s degree in geology from Wittenberg University, and a master’s degree in geology from Louisiana State University. She is a licensed professional geologist in two states.
