Marcos Gonzalez

Marcos leads VamosVentures, a Los Angeles-based early-stage Venture Capital fund investing in Latinx/Diverse tech entrepreneurs in the US, across health, financial, sustainability and future-of-work sectors. VamosVentures has two goals: (1) Drive market-rate returns and (2) Deliver impact through wealth creation in diverse communities, economic social mobility, and unique tech solutions. VamosVentures Fund I is a $50mm fund, and recently launched Fund II has a target of $100mm to execute on the same strategy at the pre-seed, seed and A rounds.

Marcos began his career at IBM and then joined the Boston Consulting Group after business school. Later Marcos worked at two DC-based private equity funds investing in LatAm and the US Hispanic market. In between, Marcos co-founded an e-commerce company in Boston later sold to a strategic buyer.

Marcos was born in Los Angeles to Mexican immigrant parents, graduated from Brown University, earned an MBA from Harvard, and now resides in Los Angeles.
