Robert Auritt is a trusted strategic advisor and outside general counsel with over 25 years of experience providing practical legal solutions to a wide array of clients across the technology, entertainment, creative, and sports industries. In 2023 Rob was named as one of 25 New York Entertainment “Power Lawyers” by The Hollywood Reporter.

Rob’s time working inside of major music, media, and sports organizations and supporting artists, entrepreneurs, and start-ups fuels the insightful advice he provides to his clients. Rob is passionate about helping his clients navigate both “routine” and cutting-edge business and legal issues, including those emerging out of the AI, XR, Web3, NFT, and metaverse spaces.

Rob previously served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel to Comcast Spectacor, where he worked across the company’s deep portfolio of professional sports, esports, event, and venue industry holdings, including the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League, the Philadelphia Fusion of the Overwatch League, and the Spectra-branded venue management, food services, sports partnerships, and ticketing companies.

Rob was also the lead digital media lawyer for NBC Sports, where he helmed legal negotiations on important agreements with organizations like the NFL, Yahoo Sports, and Twitter. In addition, Rob oversaw the legal needs of the NBC/Comcast Regional Sports Network web and mobile platforms and worked on all manner of issues related to the traditional TV sports business. Prior to that Rob was a member of the intellectual property group at Pepper Hamilton (now Trautman Pepper) and spent nearly 5 years at the Harry Fox Agency, Inc., the primary agent on behalf of the mechanical reproduction rights of music publishers in the United States.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Rob is deeply involved in community work and has held leadership roles at a variety of organizations, both locally and internationally.
