Daniel Barchi

Daniel Barchi is EVP and CIO of CommonSpirit, a $34 B health system which operates 142 hospitals in 24 states. He leads all digital operations and strategy, innovation, and cybersecurity. After earning a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy where he served as Brigade Commander, Daniel served at sea as a Naval officer. He was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal for leadership and the Southeast Asia Service Medal for Iraq operations in the Red Sea. After military service, he led global project operations for MCI and WorldCom in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Daniel most recently served as CIO of New York-Presbyterian Health System, after serving in the same role at Yale-New Haven Health System, and Carilion Clinic.
