Huang Haojie

Since 2007 as a curator at the Kaohsiung Film Festival. From 2017, he became the deputy director of Kaohsiung Film Archive. He began to be responsible for planning the Kaohsiung international short film competition ,as well as “Kaohsiung shorts” and “Kaohsiung VR Film Lab” subsidy project.

▍Kaohsiung Film Archive (Taiwan)
The institute of Kaohsiung Film Archive is sponsored by Kaohsiung City Government, Taiwan. The archive is aim to promote the film industry and to bring the audience in southern Taiwan more diversified visions.

▍Kaohsiung Film Festival
Kaohsiung Film Festival International Short Film Competition is dedicated to discover new filmmakers and to enhance cultural exchanges through short films. The competition includes 3 sections: Taiwan Competition, International Competition and VR Competition.

▍VR FILM LAB
The establishment of the “VR FILM LAB” was inspired by Kaohsiung Film Archive’s funding project “Kaohsiung VR FILM LAB”. The lab produced original VR, XR works and is dedicated to engage with international collaborators and talents with funding projects.
