Julia Martin

Julia Martin has over 20 years’ experience in executive finance roles, providing leadership and developing strategies and programs in support of government-industry collaboration, economic development and the expansion of opportunities for technology innovators. As ATI’s CFO, she works closely with teams delivering innovative business solutions designed to foster collaboration and increase access to and participation by a broad base of companies and academic institutions in federally funded R&D. With ATI’s Board and executive team, she is responsible for evaluating and evolving the strategy, business systems and solutions that support ATI’s customers and their changing needs.

Ms. Martin was previously the CFO of SCRA. In this role, she helped manage public-private programs for entrepreneurial support and economic development, including financing special-use innovation centers and establishing funding programs for early-stage companies. She established and managed grant, loan and seed capital portfolio programs for emerging technology businesses, partnering with angel investors, universities and regional economic development organizations.

Ms. Martin is a Liberty Fellow and alumnus of the Riley Institute’s Diversity Leadership Initiative. She has served on various non-profit and university boards, chairing audit, finance and investment committees.
