Jennifer Birn

Jennifer Birn is editor of Austin Lifestyle Magazine and owner of Birn Communications, a boutique marketing/PR company she launched in 2011 after more than a decade as a journalist for a daily newspaper (The Arizona Republic), monthly magazines (Glamour, ESPN Magazine, American Way…) and celebrity weeklies (all of them!).

The company formed organically after an encounter with Richard Branson led her to do marketing and PR for Virgin America – while she was still an Editor at OK! Magazine. In addition to Virgin brands, a sampling of the company’s clients over the years have included Goodles, JSX, Harmless Harvest, Plum Organics, HOP WTR and Dagne Dover and thought leadership PR for people including Jessica Yellin, Amy Jo Martin and Pankaj Shah.

She’s currently working with The Statesman (a hot new supper club in ATX), estilo (an ATX boutique for women, men and children), Abbot’s Butcher and more – in addition to shining a spotlight on the amazing city she calls home as Editor-in-Chief of Austin Lifestyle Magazine.

Jennifer is a Texas-bred New Yorker who lived in LA and has now settled in Austin with her partner and two dogs.
