Stanford University

Elysa, a visionary designer, artist, and educator, believes in the profound impact of creativity. Her global education initiatives for purpose-centered institutions integrate the science of play into innovative solutions. As a veteran instructor at Stanford's, she co-designed the trailblazing course "Forbidden Design: Psychedelic Medicine," challenging conventional boundaries. As Design Lead for Berkeley's Greater Good Science Center, Elysa developed their inaugural global online educational experience focusing on purpose across the lifespan. At Google, as the first designer-in-residence, she led transformative projects for vulnerable populations. During her tenure at IDEO, Elysa developed the Design Thinking for Educators platform, empowering educators to drive sustainable change. Recognized with the esteemed Edmund Hillary Global Impact Fellowship, Elysa's dedication to purposeful design and transformative education continues to shape her career. Today she continues this pursuit as co-founder of The School of Psychedelic Design, where she envisions a future where creativity, consciousness and life-centered design intersect for global wellbeing.
