Thalia Patrinos
Thalia Patrinos is a storyteller who seeks to make science accessible to everyone. After graduating Johns Hopkins University (JHU) in 2014, Patrinos was awarded a Fulbright grant to teach English in South Africa. After her year abroad, Patrinos worked as a middle school math and science teacher until 2018, when she began her NASA career as an intern at Johnson Space Center. Today, she is a contractor for NASA HQ in Washington DC, where she leads digital communication strategy for the Artemis missions to the Moon and audio storytelling for the agency. She is also the creator and lead of the Faces of NASA project. Patrinos recently earned her Master of Arts from JHU in Science Writing. In her free time, she leads a circus troupe that specializes in acrobatics, fire dance, and aerial arts.
