Darran Anderson

Darran Anderson is the Director of Strategy and Innovation for TxDOT. He is responsible for TxDOT's strategic innovation, emerging technology, and research initiatives; and performance analytics and enterprise initiatives; with the objective of providing a forward-thinking efficient approach for an enhanced future of mobility throughout the state. He oversees the Strategic Initiatives and Innovation, and Research and Technology Implementation divisions. He also serves on numerous committees, advisory groups and communities of practice in national organizations covering intelligent transportation systems, cooperative and automated transportation, and other emerging technologies.
