Katrin Lohmann

A passionate leader committed to bringing autonomous driving to the U.S. A native of Germany, and currently based in Silicon Valley, Katrin leads a team with a mission to make mobility-and transportation-as-a-service, safe, accessible, and attractive for society. This newly formed organization, named, Autonomous Driving Mobility & Transportation (ADMT), is a Volkswagen Group Company.

The team covers the end-to-end life cycle from strategy, business and software development, integration, fleet operations to next-generation self-driving systems. As president, Katrin is dedicated to recruiting and cultivating top-tier talent while fostering a thriving and inclusive organizational culture.

Prior to leading the ADMT US team, she was head of strategy and business development for ADMT Germany. She joined Volkswagen in 2016, from Bosch and spent 8 years in various positions. She holds engineering degrees from Darmstadt and Hamburg University of Technology.

When Katrin is not working, she enjoys exploring the U.S. with her husband and two sons in their RV. Katrin is also an avid volleyball player and enjoys exploring new trails for running.
