Chris Beaver
Chris Beaver began his career in Original Programming at Imagine TV and Showtime Networks before moving into Content Acquisitions where he has become a leader in the field over the past 12 years, rising to the level of Vice President at the network.
He acquired content from independent distributors like Vertical and Gravitas, mini-majors like Neon and Bleecker Street, major studios like Paramount and Warner Bros as well as pre-bought movies, documentaries and stand-up specials from producers. In fact, Chris was the executive who brought to life SXSW Comedy with W. Kamau Bell (and then with Natasha Leggero) in 2015 and 2016. He has attended every SXSW since 2013(participated in a panel last year) and worked with distributors like IFC in acquiring content out of the festival. Chris left Showtime in 2023 and started his own sales and distribution company, Sky Top Content, where he completed content sales to many platforms including major Pay TV, SVOD, AVOD and CTV services.
Chris is currently the Chief Content Officer at Allrites, a B2B content marketplace that is focused on making the buying and selling of content extremely flexible, adaptable, and customizable to match today’s consumer demands. In his role, Chris works daily with distributors of content libraries, independent producers and filmmakers and other rights holders in placing their content on major platforms across the globe. Allrites currently boasts 7,000 registered users who access over 140,000 hours of diverse content.
