Millicent Alooh

Millicent Alooh HSC is a Biomedical Engineer currently working as the Regional Director of BMET implementation for NEST360, an International alliance united to end preventable newborn death in African hospitals. She also serves as the Hon Secretary General for the Association of Medical Engineering of Kenya, AMEK, and a Member of the Global Clinical Engineering Alliance, GCEA. Millicent is also a strategic advisory member of medical devices at WHO, and a medical devices policy review committee member at the Kenya Bureau of Standards, KEBS. She has Served as Head of the Engineering department at Mp Shah Hospital, Nairobi; Manager Biomedical Engineering department at the Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi; Facility Manager at the Aga Khan Hospital Kisumu and as the biomedical Engineering technologist then maintenance-in-charge with the Nairobi Women’s Hospital.
