Danielle McCarthy-Boles is VP of Publicity at Magnolia Pictures. She has managed publicity campaigns for independent film hits including breakout Sundance action-comedy THELMA, starring Oscar® nominee June Squibb, Alexander Nanau’s double Oscar nominee COLLECTIVE; back-to-back Cannes Palme d'Or winners and Oscar-nominated SHOPLIFTERS and THE SQUARE; Oscar-nominated RBG; and Raoul Peck and James Baldwin’s Oscar-nominated I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO among many others.

McCarthy-Boles produced the critically acclaimed documentary Big Star: Nothing Can Hurt Me which was released nationwide by Magnolia Pictures in 2013. Big Star: Nothing Can Hurt Me was released internationally by Universal Music Group in 2014.

McCarthy-Boles holds a BFA in Cinema Studies from New York University and an MA in Media Studies from The New School. She is currently based in Austin, TX.
