Laila Bengharsa

Laila is a VP of A&R & Digital at Hipgnosis Songs Group, working with artists such as Teddy Geiger, Beach House, Caroline Rose, Geese, My Morning Jacket, and St. Vincent. She has spent the last 9 years working in music publishing at Hipgnosis, formally known as Big Deal Music, starting in sync and slowly shuffled her way over to A&R, signing artists Christian Lee Hutson and Vetiver along the way.

Prior to Big Deal, Laila worked in commercial production after majoring in Film & Digital Media. NYC-born and LA-raised, she moved back to New York in 2022 and has no plans to go back to LA-LA-Land anytime soon because New York is better. Don’t argue with her.
