Megan Trotter

Megan is a purpose-driven executive dedicated to inspiring businesses and employees to become active global citizens. In her role as the Head of Social Impact, Sustainability, and ESG at Zendesk, an award-winning customer service software company, she oversees multiple crucial areas including ESG strategy and reporting, corporate philanthropy, employee volunteering, and product sponsorship programs. In addition, she serves as the President of the Zendesk Foundation.

Rooted in nonprofit direct service and underpinned by a solid foundation in International Development, Megan approaches large-scale societal challenges with practical and localized solutions, all crafted through strategic partnerships. When she steps away from her professional commitments, Megan enjoys indulging in her pastimes which include listening to records, testing new recipes, and exploring the streets of San Francisco by bike alongside her husband and son.
