Evan Lewis, MD

Dr. Evan Cole Lewis is a Neurologist with focused training in pediatric neurology and epilepsy and holds an appointment as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, University of Toronto. He is the founder & medical director of Numinus Toronto (formerly Neurology Centre of Toronto), Chief Medical Advisor for the JMCC Group and VP Psychedelic Neurology at Numinus – a Canadian company focused on research and therapeutics with psychedelic medicines.

Dr. Lewis possesses diverse clinical and research expertise, focusing on the application of psychedelic and ketamine-assisted therapy, as well as medical cannabis, for neurological conditions, particularly epilepsy and functional seizures. He actively engages with numerous global research initiatives and patient advocacy groups within these domains, and his extensive expertise is frequently sought for national and international lectures. Dr. Lewis is a co-investigator on two medical cannabis trials, one targeting chronic headaches among adolescents and the other employing cannabis to address drug-resistant epilepsy in both children and adults.
