Iskra Lawrence
Iskra is the founder of Saltair, a model, activist and mom. She worked with Aerie for 6 years as their first role model advocating for more transparency around retouching in the fashion industry and the importance of inclusion. Iskra has been recognized on Forbes 30 Under 30 and by BBC's World's 100 Most Influential Women. She has created a loyal, engaged community of 5.5M followers on Instagram. Iskra has become a prominent figure in the industry and Harper’s Bazaar named her "The Millennial Poster Girl for Positivity".
As a NEDA ambassador since 2016, she has delivered countless uplifting speeches across the United States. In 2018, she partnered with the BBC to travel to UK middle and high schools, delivering a presentation she created to help students with body image, mental health, and cyberbullying. For over 5 years, Iskra toured colleges and malls nationwide as the Aerie Real Role Model, engaging with young women one-on-one and on panels to encourage them to 'love the skin you're in'.
In 2022, she launched her body and hair care brand, Saltair, with the mission to remind everybody they deserve moments of self care in their daily lives. Iskra has seen vast success with her brand, Saltair which speaks to her empowering entrepreneurship. Saltair offers an inclusive range of body care products that nourish both the body and spirit with a focus on clean ingredients and sustainable practices. The brand is sold across the US in Target stores and has exponentially grown with EOY 2023 sales reaching over 20 million dollars.
