Maíra Ferranti Corrêa
Maíra Ferranti Corrêa is a production and operations manager based in Washington, DC. After completing her B.A. in Film & Communications, her path took her from producing television shows in her home country of Brazil, to diving into the craze of the digital media world at BuzzFeed and Smosh, to then joining the Biden for President electoral campaign and his administration. In 2022, Maíra joined the National Geographic Society’s Impact Story Lab, an initiative that combines creative excellence with social, cognitive, and behavioral science to drive real-world impact. As the team’s production and operations manager, Maíra helps lead and oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing, and workflows. Maíra is passionate about collaborating with her teammates and implementing processes that unlock creativity, expand the field of impact media, and help the team reach their full potential in telling stories that inspire audiences to be in awe of the world around them.
