R.J. LaForce

R.J. has worked in and around the film exhibition scene since 2005, gaining skills in film programming, marketing and branding, project management, team building and collaboration, event coordination and management, and more.

While finishing up a Bachelor's degree he started work at the Alamo Drafthouse and began interning for the Austin Film Society. That evolved into garnering experience on film and TV productions, moving into the creative and programming side of the Alamo Drafthouse, and going back to school to earn a Master's degree in Media Studies.

Currently he works as the Senior Film Programmer for screens throughout the U.S. and London for Rooftop Cinema Club and teaches film and media classes at Austin Community College.
