Carla Lalli Music is the New York Times bestselling author of That Sounds So Good and received a James Beard Award for her first cookbook, Where Cooking Begins. The former food director at Bon Appétit, Carla hosted the hit YouTube show, Back to Back chef, and appeared in many other test kitchen videos. In 2021, she launched Carla’s Cooking Show on YouTube; her newsletter, Food Processing, is on Substack. In her free time, she enjoys weightlifting, cooking over live fire, kissing her dog on the snout, and beach vacations. She lives in Brooklyn, but you can find her on Instagram and Tiktok.
